  • DecoArt Patio Paint, Cloud White
  • DecoArt Patio Paint, Foxglove Pink
  • DecoArt Patio Paint, Petunia Purple
  • DecoArt Patio Paint, Wrought Iron Black
  • Craft glue, thick
  • Paintbrush, flat, ¾-inch
  • Paintbrush, liner, No. 0
  • Plugs, ¾-inch, 2
  • Styrofoam balls, 3-inch, cut in half
  • Terra cotta saucers, 3¼-inch, 2
  • Water container

Due to the seasonal nature of some merchandise, actual availability of some products pictured may vary.

 
  • Use flat brush to paint styrofoam half ball Concrete Grey, saucers with a 1:1 mix of Concrete Grey and Petunia Purple and plugs Cloud White. Let dry.

 
  • Paint saucers with Foxglove Pink and wipe back with paper towel or soft cloth. Let dry.

 
  • Use liner to paint eye pupils Wrought Iron Black with Cloud White highlights.

 
  • Glue styrofoam (flat side down) inside one saucer. Glue eyes in place. Invert second saucer, position and glue down to bottom saucer in back leaving eyes exposed in front.

Tip: Read and follow manufacturer's instructions for all products used.

Use photo as a guide when painting and assembling project.

Use paintbrush appropriate for size of area being painted. Use liner brush for narrow areas and detail work.
