	Ch 127. Row 1 (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip next 2 ch, * sc in next 3 ch, ch 3, skip next 2 ch; rep from * to last 2 ch; sc in last 2 ch; turn.
	Row 2 (Right Side): Ch 1, sc in first sc, skip next sc; 5 dc in ch-3 sp – shell made; * skip next sc, sc in next sc, skip next sc, shell in ch-3 sp; rep from * to last 2 sc; skip next sc, sc in last sc; turn – 25 shells.
	Row 3: Ch 4, skip sc, skip first dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, * ch 3, skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc; rep from * to last sc; ch 1, dc in last sc; turn.
	Row 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc – beg half shell made; skip next sc, sc in next sc, skip next sc, * shell in ch-3 sp, skip next sc, sc in next sc, skip next sc; rep from * to ch-4; 3 dc in 3rd ch of ch-4 – end half shell made; turn – 24 whole and 2 half shells.
	Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first 2 dc, skip next dc, * ch 3, skip next dc, sc in next 3 dc, skip next dc; rep from * to last 4 sts; ch 3, skip sc, skip next dc, sc in next dc and in top of ch-3; turn. Rep Rows 2-5 for pat seven more times. Fasten off.
	Finishing: Mark center 12 shells for neck. Fold fabric in half and sew seam from markers to edges.
	Neck Edging: With right side facing, attach yarn at seam; ch 1, sc evenly around neck; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
	Poncho Edging: With right side facing, attach yarn at seam; ch 1, sc evenly around entire edge working 3 sc in corners; join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Size: One size fits most women. Finished Size (folded): 28-inches wide x 20 ½-inches long.
Gauge: 2 shells = 4 ½-inches; 8 rows = 5-inches. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
