  • Beadalon® 49 Bright Beading Wire (.015-inch diameter, 27-inch length)
  • Beadalon® #1 Silver Crimp Beads (44)
  • Beadalon® #2 Silver Crimp Tubes (4)
  • Swarovski® Crystal Violet Opal Bicone Beads: 4mm (16)
  • Swarovski® Crystal Tanzanite Bicone Beads: 4mm (14)
  • Swarovski® Crystal Violet Opal Round Beads: 6mm (2)
  • Swarovski® Crystal Tanzanite Round Beads: 6mm (6)
  • Silver Ear Wires (2)

Due to the seasonal nature of some merchandise, actual availability of some products pictured may vary.
 
     Cut one each 3 1/2-inch, 4 1/2-inch and 5 1/2-inch pieces of beading wire. Holding wires together, pass one end of each through a crimp tube, make a small loop and pass ends back through same crimp tube. Crimp closed.
 
     Pass the 3 1/2-inch wire through the following: Crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead. Don’t crimp any crimp beads yet. Place a small piece of tape over wire end.
 
     Pass the 4 1/2-inch wire through the following: Crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 6mm violet opal, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm tanzanite, crimp bead. Don’t crimp any crimp beads yet. Place a small piece of tape over wire end.
 
     Pass the 5 1/2-inch wire through the following: Crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 6mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 6mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead, 6mm tanzanite, crimp bead, 4mm violet opal, crimp bead. Don’t crimp any crimp beads yet.
 
     Remove tape from other wires. Holding wire ends together, pass them through a crimp tube, make a small loop and pass ends back through same crimp tube. Crimp closed.
 
     Adjust beads so they’re centered on wire, then crimp outermost crimp beads on each wire to hold beaded sections in place.
 
     Open lower loop on ear wire. Slide looped ends of beaded wire onto the ear wire loop and close.
 
     Repeat steps to make a matching earring.
Tip:

Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.

For variety, choose mixed shades of your favorite color or go bold and elegant with black crystals.
