-
Cut or tear tape into 2-inch long pieces.
-
With the sticky side facing up, fold upper right corner down, leaving a strip of stickiness on the left side and across the bottom.
-
Take the upper left corner and fold it down, leaving the top in a triangle and only a strip of stickiness across the bottom.
-
Roll this across from left to right tightly – this becomes the center of the flower.
-
Repeat steps 2-3 for each petal. Stick the strip on the bottom around the center. Continue these steps until you have reached the desired size of your flower.
-
For a stem, cut a piece of green tape measuring 3½-inches long.
-
Place a 4-inch piece of floral wire on the strip of tape parallel and roll the tape across the wire, wrapping it tightly around, leaving ½-inch of wire sticking out one end of the tape. Insert the end of the wire that doesn’t have tape into the flower. Make 2 or more petals out of the green tape and attach them to the bottom of the flower, securing the stem to the flower with the sticky strip across the bottom of the green petals.

-
Repeat steps to make as many flowers as you like.

-
Cut styrofoam into a cube and push the foam chunk into the clay pot.

-
Insert the flower stems into the styrofoam.
