  • Crochet hook, size N-15 U.S., 10mm, or size needed to obtain gauge

  • FINISHED SIZE: To fit a 6-inch plant pot.
    GAUGE: 8 sts and 6 rows = 4 ins in pat.
 
  • With A, ch 29. Join with ss to form ring.
 
  • 1st rnd: 1 sc in each ch around. Change to B at end of last sc. Ss in first sc. 28 sts. 2nd rnd: With B, ch 4. Miss 1 sc. (1 dc in next sc. Miss next sc. Ch 1) 13 times. Ss in 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
 
  • 3rd rnd: With A, ch 1. 1 sc in each dc and ch-1 sp around. Ss in first sc. 4th rnd: Ch 4. Miss next sc. (1 dc in next sc. Miss next sc. Ch 1) 13 times. Ss in 3rd ch of beg ch-4.
 
  • 5th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 4 sts (dc or ch-1 sp). 2 sc in next st. (1 sc in each of next 6 sts. 2 sc in next st) 3 times. 1 sc in each of last 2 sts, changing to B in last sc. Ss in first sc. (32 sts)
 
  • 6th rnd: With B, ch 3. 1 dc in each sc around. Ss in top of ch-3. 7th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each dc around. Ss in first dc. 8th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Ss in first sc.
 
  • 9th rnd: Ch 1. Working from left to right, instead of from right to left as usual, work 1 sc in each sc around for reverse sc. Fasten off.
Tip: One ball of color A and one ball of color B will make five plant pot covers.
