     Foot Length Sizes: A (5 ins [12.5cm]); B (6 ins [15cm]); C (7 ins [18cm])

 
     Starting at back of heel, cast on 2 sts

 
     1st row: (RS). Knit.

 
     2nd row: Inc 1 st in first st. K1.

 
     3rd and 4th rows: Knit.

 
     5th row: Inc 1 st in first st. Knit to end of row.

 
     Rep last 3 rows 4 (6-6) times more. 8 (10-10) sts.

 
     Next row: Cast on 9 (11-11) sts (sides). Knit these sts. P1. Knit to last st. P1. Turn. Cast on 9 (11-11) sts. 26 (32-32) sts.

 
     Next row: Knit.

 
     Next row: (RS). K9 (11-11) P1. K6 (8-8). P1. K9 (11-11)

 
     Rep last 2 rows until work from side cast on measures 3 (3H-4) ins [8 (9-10) cm], ending with RS facing for next row.

 
     Next row: K2. (P1. K1) 4 (5-5) times. K7 (9-9). (P1. K1) 4 (5-5) times K1.

 
     Next row: (K1. P1) 5 (6-6) times. K6 (8-8). (P1. K1). 5 (6-6) times.

 
     Rep last 2 rows 5 (6-7) times more.

 
     Next row: *K2tog. Rep from * to end of row.

 
     Purl 1 row.

 
     Next row: *K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. Break yarn leaving a long end. Thread end through rem sts and fasten securely.

 
     Sew center front seam to end of ribbing for toe. Sew sides to long edges of triangle shape at heel.

 
     Head (make 2).

 
     Cast on 10 sts.

 
     1st row: Knit, inc 1 sts in every st. 20 sts.

 
     Beg with a purl row, work 13 rows in stocking st.

 
     Next row: *K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. Break yarn leaving a long end. Thread end through rem sts and fasten securely.

 
     Ears (make 4)

 
     With pink yarn, cast on 5 sts.

 
     Work 6 rows in garter st (knit every row).

 
     Next row: Sl 1. K1. psso. K1. K2tog. 3 sts.

 
     Next row: Sl 1. K2tog. psso. Fasten off.

 
     With WS tog, sew front and back of ears tog.

 
     With Black and tapestry needle, embroider chain st around outer edge of ear as shown.

 
     Finishing

 
     Sew back seam of head. Stuff head firmly. Pinch center of face and stitch with white yarn to make nose. Embroider nose, eyes and whiskers with white yarn. Sew ears in position as shown.
