Clean and dry the inside of the glass and cover the outside surfaces of the glass with plastic wrap, using tape to secure it if needed.

Spray the inside of the glass with multiple thin coats of the Looking Glass Paint and allow the paint to dry.

Remove the plastic wrap from the glass and position the desired monogram letter on the outside of the glass using the stencil adhesive or small pieces of double-sided tape.

Use tape to attach pieces of plastic wrap around the exposed parts of the glass and spray the monogram letter using the White Frosted Paint. Allow the paint to dry.

Remove the stencil and plastic wrap from the glass and use the small sponge applicator to remove any excess paint around the edges of the sprayed monogram letter.

Place the old egg cartons upside down inside the old box and place the glass balls on top of the egg cartons to hold them while spraying. Spray each ball a single solid color, using all the colors of the metallic, H2O and frosted glass paints. Allow them to dry.

Turn the balls over on the egg cartons to expose the unpainted portions and spray them again. Allow them to dry.

Spray the gold metallic sprayed glass balls with the gold and silver glitter sprays and all of the other colored glass balls with silver glitter. Allow them to dry. Turn the balls over and spray them with glitter again and allow them to dry.

Wrap the silver star garland around the silver glitter stems and use the scissors to curl the ends of the several pieces of metallic shred.

Fill the bottom of the glass with batting and bend the ends of the silver stems so the rest on the opposite sides of the monogrammed letter on the glass.

Arrange the balls in the glass around the silver garlands and stems allowing some of the garlands to drape over the sides of the glass. If desired, place some of the painted glass balls around the base of the glass.

Place the silver shred between the balls and garland and around the base of the glass if desired.

Tip:

Before using spray paints, always read and follow the manufacturer’s directions printed on each can. If possible, place the items to be sprayed inside an old box to control overspray and take the box with the items outside before spraying. If desired, wear gloves and a mask to avoid contact with the paint and overspray.
