     Snowflake 1 measures approximately 5 1/2"/14 cm across widest point; Snowflake 2 measures approximately 4 1/2"/11.5 cm across widest point; Snowflake 3 measures approximately 3 1/2"/9 cm across widest point.

     SNOWFLAKE 1

 
     Ch 6; join with slip st in first ch to form a ring.

 
     Round 1: Ch 1, *(sc, ch 3, sc) in ring; repeat from * 5 more times; join with slip st in first sc.

 
     Round 2: Ch 1, *(3 sc, ch 5, 3 sc) in next ch-3 space, skip next 2 sc; repeat from * around; join with slip st in first sc.

 
     Round 3: Slip st in next 2 sts, ch 1, *(4 sc, ch 5, 4 sc) in next ch-5 space, ch 1; repeat from * around; join with slip st in first sc.

 
     Round 4: Slip st in each st to first ch-5 space, ch 1, *(sc, ch 3, sc, ch 3, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 3, sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch-5 space, ch 5, skip next 4 sc, slip st around ch-1 in Round 3 (directly below), ch 5, skip next 4 sc; repeat from * around; join with slip st in first sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

     Ch 3; join with slip st in first ch to form a ring.

 
     Round 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in ring; join with slip st in first sc.

 
     Round 2: Ch 5 (counts as dc, ch 2), *dc in next sc, ch 2; repeat from * 5 more times; join with slip st in 3rd ch of beginning ch.

 
     Round 3: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next ch-2 space, *sc in next dc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next ch-2 space; repeat from * around; join with slip st in first sc.

 
     Round 4: *Ch 4, skip next 2 dc, (sc, ch 3, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch-3 space, ch 4, skip next 2 dc, slip st in next sc; repeat from * around; join with slip st in same st as joining. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Tip: You could tie one on a present as an ornament gift or appliqué them to your favorite sweater.
