Cut a variety of colors of tissue paper into small squares approximately ž-inch in size.
Using a foam brush, paint a thick layer of Mod PodgeŽ over the clay pot.
Lay single tissue paper squares on the wet Mod PodgeŽ to completely cover the pot.
Once this is almost dry, gently paint a layer of Mod PodgeŽ over the top of the tissue paper squares, being careful not to rip the squares back or move them around.
Once this is dry, repeat with another layer of Mod PodgeŽ
Repeat this procedure for the clay saucer to completely cover the top surface and sides of the saucer.
Once the pot and saucer are dry, cut a Styrofoam block into a square that will fit snugly into the pot. HAVE AN ADULT CUT STYROFOAM BLOCK.
Cover the Styrofoam with a layer of floral moss.
Tip: A paper cutter allows for easy cutting of several sheets of tissue paper at a time.
Only adults should cut Styrofoam into small squares using a sharp knife.
