Artist's Loft™ Field Sketch Easel is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this every day. I'm a Pro. watercolor artist I am a professional watercolor artist and i have used this easel almost everyday for about 2 years. I know of several other plein air master watercolor artists who use this type easel. It is easy to use, dirt cheap and light and compact for carrying. I carry it on a motorcycle along with all my watercolor painting tools most everywhere I go.. It sets up and breaks down fast, I made a wood shelf for it out of 1/2" ply wood (12"x15") that hooks onto front legs with hole's for brush's and cup. I like the fact it is wood and with a few tools I have customized mine with ease, I broke a piece on it once and fixed it with some glue and a screw, I added a piece on the front leg (2"x!/8"x2') where I can display clipped on paintings for sale while painting in public. It folds into easel when easel taken down. I plan to make a sling for easel to carry it. My next easel will be this same one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult for disabled I've been wanting an easel for years now. My husband finally brought me one and I was so excited so was he. He set it up for me because he had duty the next day. So I would ha able to paint while he was gone. Well not really. I can't walk right now and when I tried to bring the Easel closer to me it fell spilling juice on my tv and white walls and new floors. And I couldn't clean it up. More trouble than anything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Complete waste of money. I would not recommend buying this one. You have to do a lot of tweaking in order for a canvas to somewhat stay secured. And by tweaking I mean add multiple things to it. And even then every time you get to the sides you need to be extremely careful so the whole canvas doesn't just fall out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had to return it I bought this same style of easel 15 years ago for my daughter, made by Mabef in Italy. It cost me $60 at the time. It was a great, versatile easel. I wanted one for myself, so I bought the one in your store. What a sad contrast. Flimsy skinny pine, and no washers to grip the screws to the wood, so no matter how much I tightened the screws, they came loose as soon as a canvas was placed on it. What a shame, especially for what you charge for it.
