Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy this product This easel came with a dozen pieces of word, assorted nuts and bolts and NO DIRECTIONS! Once put together it was flimsy and busted the first time it fell over. June 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stop complaining I went and bought this easel because it was cheaper than buying online. And as for everyone complaining that there are no directions here's to you: first of, use common sense; second, open the price tag and the directions are inside; and lastly Michael's is always there to assist their customers, so just ask! Rated 2 out of 5 by Looks great but not stable. Easel looks great once assembled, but not very sturdy and did not include assembly instructions. We bought it to display our Wedding guest book poster and it looked great, but was shaky when guests touched it to write. It is a good easel for temporary use and would not recommend it for a heavy or large canvas. May 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Are you serious about putting this together Yes,direction do come with it,however parts are not marked from A-F. WHO knows one part from the other? I bought two easels. ONE broke when I stood it up right. Trashed it. Told my daughter to carry the other one back . She is trying to assemble it .As for me it was a waste of money, time, and effort. If you see one of these Easels. RUN, run!!!!! May 1, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Read! I was under the impression that there weren't any instructions for this. Didn't see them anywhere. Looked online and saw other reviews that there were no instructions. There ARE instructions! They're on the tag thing on the top of the bag on the back side. I totally missed it until I was going to throw it away and noticed it. So just check under the tag! Rated 3 out of 5 by This product does have instructions... I noticed that some of the reviews had complaints that there were no instructions, so I wanted to let everyone know that there are assembly instructions. The instructions are on the back of the blue cardboard label at the top of the package. February 13, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Crazy complicated Assembly No instructions for assembly, 3 people trying to figure out where all the parts go. And it's very light weight - can't have anything that might cause it to tip. February 12, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Instruction Disaster First of all, the instructions are on the tag that it hangs from. The instructions are on the inside, but do not make sense. None of the pieces are labled. So pretty much, its a self assemble. 1. Place the two that have kinda like a "/" and "\" with 'G'. (its easy to find.)then screw it in the the short screw, not the long ones. Then, there are peices like D,E,F wich have little rubber things on the bottom so it wont slip or something idk.. Then your screw those in. (i dont remember wich screw, but they should fit) Once you finish that you are left with the wood. The thicker part sits on the front. One top of the part with the rubber thingies. Then the skinny one on the back, where the piece makes like an arch ')' facing the thick piece. then screw in the long screw, Push in the chain, and one thing. dont. use. the. donut-looking piece. Just use the other one that makes it tight, and sturdy. THEN... The other side doesnt fit because of the hook. So, use needle-nose pliers to open that up and take off the hook! then do the same thing you did for the top. All done! Enjoy your amazing easle! January 23, 2016
