Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job! This product is very easy to use and good quality. I bought a few different size packs and they are very convenient when trying to acheive the perfect outcome. August 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Canvas I have used these for button art, transferring photos, painting etc!! They always look great and hold up well to my projects. What's even better is the price I can grab them up on when I open my Michaels emails! August 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for the price Though some have left negative reviews I personally have been quite satisfied with these canvases, especially for the price, and how often they can be purchased on sale. Yes, you do want to check for any noticeable dents. I however have been able to work with small dents by either removing them myself (via some moisture and a blow dryer - before painting) or by using any slightly dented one with a piece where I am doing thicker layers of paint where it would not even be an issue for the finished product. Obviously if you pay more you can get higher end canvases but for the price I have found them to be a good quality to work with. I have sold several paintings done on these canvases and the customers were completely satisfied. July 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 good for what you get I do a lot of nonpaint projects on canvas. These work great for my projects. They are cheap enough to by a few at a time and use them for great craft projects with kids. They hold paint and glue well. I can not comment on a painters view. January 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 You get what you pay for I agree with the 1* rating. These are exactly what you'd expect from a cheap canvas. They have dents from mishandling, they aren't square because the stretcher bars are low quality and bow, the canvas sags. I am a professional artist, and have 20 years experience with various canvases. I love the price of these, particularly when they go on sale. They're good for children's projects or students, hobbyists who need to save money or are just starting to paint. January 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 Inexpensive solution for the busy artist I've created a few pieces with Artist Loft canvases. I did not find the "dent" problem taxing. It does make sense to use a sticker on top of the cellophane, but the canvas holds up well, is nicely stretched, and does not deserve a one star rating, in my opinion. December 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 Dent Michaels... Artist Loft seems to be your home product for stretched canvas. Please stop putting those stiff paper banners across the top. They cause dents that you can't see even if you inspect the canvas before purchase. Also, anyone who buys a canvas does not care about the adverrizing details, they just don't want dents and stretches in the canvas. Save your company some money and just put a sticker on top of the cellophane.... Easy fix. I used to buy your artist loft canvasses but the "dents" are never ending... And no, I don't have the time to stretch my own. November 21, 2014
