Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wooden box The product was well made, but a little pricey. It was lightweight which made it a good choice for the floral project we were doing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect gift box I selected this box for my daughter to use as a bridesmaid gift. She will give one to each of her bridesmaids. She intends to decorate it especially for each maid in particular with little gifts inside. So it will be a gift AND a keepsake box :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Glue Everywhere You guys should really focus on your quality control department. I've bought over 15 of these boxes for various projects and whoever you have assemble them seems to be extremely careless in doing so. Glue everywhere. Glue sloppily over applied to where it leaks out of the joining sections of the wood. There has been glue on the bottom of the box on the inside and even in various places on the exterior. I've had a box that had an extra screw hole drilled into it where they measured incorrectly when placing the hinges and instead of scrapping that piece of wood and starting over, just left it as is and sent it down the production line. It's called quality control and it is severely lacking. Half the time you can't even tell that there is glue on the box until you stain it. Then it's incredibly visible because stain won't cover those areas. So you have to sand and sand and sand to try to make the box somewhat acceptable for use. I shouldn't have to spend an hour sanding a "ready to stain" box in order to properly stain it. It doesn't matter if it's a $5 box or $50 box, these issues are avoidable and shouldn't happen time after time, box after box. I hope that someone important sees this and takes the correct steps into making sure that these mistakes aren't repeated over and over.
