Project Instructions

Step 1 Using photograph as a guide for colors, coat each frame, one at a time, with VersaMark® ink, by tapping the pad on all wood colored surfaces.
Step 2 Over a large piece of scrap paper, pour embossing powder all over inked frame, tap off excess powder, and return excess to jar.
Step 3 Using Heat Embossing Tool, heat embossing powder until melted and set, taking care not to overheat.
Step 4 Stamp images on appropriately sized panels of cardstock in black ink, color as desired with colored pencils.

For Skeleton Frame
Step 1 Use edge of black stamp pad to distress edges of skeleton panel then mount on larger orange panel.
Step 2 Adhere skeleton picture to back side of frame.
Step 3 Sprinkle additional Charcoal Detail powder in corners of image and on frame as shown.
Step 4 Sprinkle Mica from Mica and Ice Kit on dry embossing powder.
Step 5 Using Heat Tool, heat from underneath until melting powder sets, holding mica in place.
Step 6 Glue additional mica on frame if desired.
Step 7 Add Orange ribbon through top hole in frame for hanging.

For Owl Background Frame
Step 1 Distress edges of owl panel with scissors and black ink pad.
Step 2 Glue Owl panel to larger black panel then to back of frame.
Step 3 Glue mica in corners of picture with Zip Dry™.
Step 4 Add black ribbon through holes in frame for hanging.

For Owl with Spider Frame
Step 1 Round corners of owl panel with corner rounding punch.
Step 2 Distress edges of owl panel with black ink pad.
Step 3 Glue Owl panel to larger black panel then to back of frame.
Step 4 Tie twine through holes in buttons, then attach buttons to picture with Zots™ adhesive dots.
Step 5 Tie black ribbon through holes in frame for hanging.
