Step 1 Hold one large silver earring blank in place on top of a steel bench block with long nose pliers. Texture earring blank using the square side of the texture hammer. Repeat to make two pieces.
Step 2 Hold one large gold circle blank in place on top of a steel bench block with long nose pliers. Texture circle blank using the striped side of the texture hammer. Repeat to texture four large gold circle blanks, four small copper circle blanks, and one small gold circle blank. Using the punch, create a hole on the small textured gold circle directly opposite the existing hole.
Use prepared textured blanks throughout the following instructions.
Step 3 Align holes on the first gold large circle and one-hole end of first silver earring and rivet* to connect on mark. Punch out a hole on the same gold large circle opposite the riveted end. Repeat to make two sets using the second gold large circle and second silver earring. This will be referred as "Set 1" and "Set 2" throughout the instructions.
Step 4 Holding "Set 1," align the holes on the third gold large circle and middle hole of the three-hole end; rivet to connect on mark. Align holes on the first copper small circle and left hole of the same silver earring then rivet to connect on mark. Align holes on the second copper small circle and right hole of the same silver earring; rivet to connect on mark.
Step 5 Repeat Step 4 using "Set 2" and remaining textured blanks.
Step 6 Align punched out hole on gold large circle from "Set 1" and first hole on gold small circle then rivet on mark. Align punched out hole on gold large circle from "Set 2" and second hole on gold small circle, then rivet on mark.
Step 7 Bend the flat metal bracelet using the forming pliers until it forms a circle.
*To Rivet: Punch a hole that fits the diameter of eyelet in two metal blanks. Thread the eyelet through the holes in the metal. Push the metal blanks to fit tightly against the rolled edge of the eyelet. Place metal and eyelet connection on top of an anvil or hard flat surface. Hammer center punch down on the non-rolled end of eyelet to create a flare. Remove center punch then carefully hammer eyelet down with the round side of a ball-peen hammer until connection is secure.
