Boye® Anodized Aluminum Circular Needles, 29" is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dreadful!! These are horrible to knit with. There is a bump where the needle joins the loop that the stitches get stuck on. I'm knitting a sweater on size 4s, so that means having to bump every stitch over these every row. And then after only 28 rows, they broke, leaving lots of dropped stitches. I ordered some lovely Clover bamboo needles off Amazon, and am soooo much happier with them. I only rated them one star because there was nothing lower!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within a week I bought these last week and they broke last night - cord came right out of the needle and I nearly lost a dozen stitches half way through a row. Also that aside, the paint chips off (not too surprising though) and black from the metal was rubbing off on my finger. These were junk unfortunately!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke immediately. These needles seemed very nice, some reviews worried me but I decided to try them anyway. I ordered them and started using them for my husband's blanket I'm working on. Only, roughly, forty-five minutes into my project one of the needles broke away from the plastic loop. I tried super glue and it worked...for all of an hour. It broke again, so I tried gorilla glue. Which, again, worked for a minuscule amount of time. I will be returning these needles, I am very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You can find better I've used Boye straight needles and have never had an issue, so I decided to stick with them for a circle knitting project. Huge mistake. The wire connecting the 2 needles is near impossible to relax. Even after soaking it in hot water, and pulling taught they began to coil mid-project. To make matters worse, the cheap wiring leads to it being bent in strange ways (like a 90 degree angle) against the needle, and then breaking apart. Found some bamboo ones that are superb. Easy to use, stitches slide with ease, and the wire is flexible. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on something you know will last you more than 20 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy these. There are all kinds of needles, and some can get quite pricey, especially in an unusual size, like 2 (very small). Still, these are so bad because the joint where the cable joins the needle is rough and poorly designed. This means that instead of sliding your knitting around, you have to stop every row and manually pick up and lift each stitch to get it to move along. I may have bought these before and forgotten how bad they are, but they made my project torture and it took twice as long. Especially when using the "magic loop" method, it is very important for you to be able to slide the stitches-something the design of these needles makes impossible. Always check the joint and the cable type-which in these is very inflexible before purchasing circular needles. Last time I purchase this brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Knitting Needles I prefer bamboo circular needles but in size 8 you are lucky to find any made of any material. The medal ones are nice for wool but too slippery for alpaca, silk, or ribbon. I was pleased to find this pair at least at Michael's and am enjoying them. Please stock more size 8 needles in any material. Thanks, Anne

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boyz circular knitting needles This is not the usual brand of needles that I prefer. I needed size 5 needles in a hurry. They worked for what I needed them for,but the flexible wire that joins them was very stiff which made them harder to use.
