Material List
- Americana® Decoupage, 2 oz. – Matte
- Americana® Patio Paint – Daisy Cream, Hydrangea Blue, Sweet Pea and Raspberry Red
- Paintbrush – ¾" Flat
- Scrapbook Paper – Butterfly
- Water Container
- Palette (or Plastic Plate)
- Paper Towels
- Scissors
- Craft Knife (Optional)
- Hexagon Wood Birdhouse
Project Instructions
Step 1 Paint as follows: knob, Hydrangea Blue; top section, inside opening, and base, Raspberry Red; next section plus perch, Daisy Cream; and roof, Sweet Pea. (Refer to photo for color placement.)
Step 2 Cut scrapbook paper to fit each section.
Step 3 Immerse paper in water to relax fibers.
Step 4 Brush decoupage matte glue on one section at a time. Position paper on section. Smooth from center out with fingers. Apply more decoupage over paper. Repeat for each section. Let dry. Trim edges with craft knife, if necessary.
