Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for the budding artist! My grandaughter loves all artistic endeavors, a multitude of venues, and the ease of taking the notebook with her for quick sketches, cartooning, and more detailed work as well. This mixed media notebook is always near her. July 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for collage papers As a mixed media artist, I find Canson's Mix Media pads to be ideal for making my own collage papers. I work mostly in acrylics and have been very pleased with how nicely this paper accepts the paint. I usually gesso the paper first, but occasionally I don't, and have had no trouble with it rippling or wrinkling. Depending on how many coats of paint I've applied it may form a gentle "arc" when it dries but this is not a problem. If I need it to lay perfectly flat I just lay the painted sheet face down on some freezer paper, very lightly spritz the back of it with water, place another sheet of freezer paper over it, and place some heavy books on it, letting it sit overnight. The next day it's flat as a pancake. But I rarely ever bother to do this because for my purposes it isn't usually necessary. I find this paper to be ideal for making my own collage papers because it doesn't wrinkle when it's being glued down. Its weight is just right and results in a beautiful finished collage. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great paper, poorly put together The spiral of this notebook kept popping out at the top, which was very frustrating because I got it due to the fact that it had a spiral spine. It was perforated, which was also a nice feature, but i bought a regular pad a paper before finishing out this spiral book. But i was very happy with the paper, i would just rip it out rather than painting on it while still attached to the book. July 4, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by So nice I love drawing and sketching, and this sketch pad is perfect for everything. The paper quality is great and I always bring it with me wherever I go and case I want to sketch something up. I've also used paints on it and they stay on very well. Would defiantly recommend this for the artist who likes to use every utensil. June 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought out the shelf when I was there last... ...Yup you heard me right. I was preparing to be dr=awings hundreds of drawings the following night. So, I had to stock up. I love this paper so much and price was on-point. It's a great size to be drawing caricatures for events. You better get yours cause I am going to buy out the shelf again soon. :) June 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for all purpose painting I use the mix- media paper for my art classes. I teach I several retirement communities , mostly watercolor , but some acrylic too. Most of the time I provide a sketch or outline for my elder artists to follow. This paper is great as I can trim It to 8.5 inches wide, and feed it through my printer to place the image directly on the paper. The results are very good! It's a good value, especially with a 50% off offer so I can stock up for y classes! June 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is not as thick as I would have liked This paper is too thin for my project but I will use it with something else. I had wanted to paint on it with acrylics and it tended to pucker. June 8, 2016
