Customer Reviews

Caron® Simply Soft® On the Plus Side Afghan (Crochet) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Error There are directions missing for steps 3 & 4. They are incomplete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight airy throw. The project sheet in the store is easy enough to understand, however the website says this can be completed in "About an hour," which is far from correct. The project sheet says completion time is about 54 hours. Which I've figured to be pretty accurate. 10-15 minutes per square, at 180 squares, plus several hours to layout the pattern & stitch it together. The pattern per square is lightweight and airy. (Pick out 9 skeins of yarn and imagine that weight speed over half queen bed.) If you want a dense, heavy blanket/throw, than this is not the pattern for you. The Caron Simply Soft yarn is a great inexpensive acrylic yarn, (comparable in every way to Red Heart Soft) without all scratchy texture of a value priced acrylic. I use it (& the RHSoft) for most projects.
