Material List
- Elmer’s® Washable School Glue™
- Thick String or Yarn
- Cardboard
- Tempera Paint
- Paintbrush
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Ink Roller (Optional)
Project Instructions
Step 1 Draw a simple picture on a piece of cardboard.
Step 2 Cover the outline of the picture with glue.
Step 3 Cover the glue with pieces of string or yarn. Let the glue dry completely.
Step 4 Brush paint evenly on the string.
Step 5 Lay a sheet of construction paper on top of the string picture. Rub evenly with an ink roller or other object for a few seconds.
Step 6 Slowly peel off the paper to reveal your print.
Step 7 Let the print dry completely and then hang it up!
