Cut a 14” aqua strand and a 14” pink strand. Cut a 9” purple strand. Line the pink and aqua strands up. Line the purple strand up with the other end of the pink strand.
Tie an overhand knot with all three strands at the spot marked above, so that a 5” tail is left with the pink strand.
Braid for 4”. Tie a slip knot with all three cords again. Trim any excess cord on either side of the knot EXCEPT for both the 5” pink and aqua tails.
To finish the bracelet and create adjustable knots, cross the aqua cord over the pink cord, like you would to close the bracelet.
Make a knot on both sides of the bracelet next to the overhand knots. Start by making the first knot 3” down from the base of the aqua strand.
Cross the aqua strand to the right (the knot will be made going in the right direction), over and in front over the pink strand. Loop the aqua strand around the pink strand the same way as an overhand knot, back behind the pink strand and to the front. Instead of coming back through the loop to complete the knot, make another loop around the pink strand.
Pull the aqua strand in front of the loops just created, then run it back through the aqua loops going to the right. Pull both ends of the blue strand to form a knot. Trim any excess cord.
To make the second knot, use the pink cord to make the knot and the aqua cord as the base. Make this knot going to the left instead of the right, and on the other side of the bracelet next to the other overhand knot.
