This remarkable modeling clay is smoother, finer and less sticky. It needs no oven or kiln to set and it’s ideal for traditional techniques such as pinch, coil, slab and score-and-weld. The easy-to-use clay softens with water and makes a huge range of projects including stamped impressions, beads and embedding found objects. The clay can be painted with tempera, acrylic or watercolors when dry and cleans quickly from hands and surfaces.

  • Reusable plastic bucket

Crayola® Clay, Air-Dry 4.2 5 18 18
As close to the real stuff as you can get for kids! I love this clay! This is a great clay to work with, for kids from tykes to teenagers. We've made some great little animals and statues. My two sons (13 and 16) are so excited with the results. I have worked with kiln fired clay in the past, and honestly, this clay handles the same way. It does not dry as hard as kiln-fired clay (nothing wood, I don't think), but it still dries hard and can be used to put on a shelf. I have one little pot that I used almost every day (for sewing purposes) and it has held up quite well. April 7, 2015
This product is great for teaching interactive lessons like dino history!!! Our kids loved making dinosaurs with the model magic. I would just recommend that this be accompanied with a huge covering of some sort (tarps or table cloths). It gets a lil messy on tables (kinda sticky) and floors. February 26, 2015
Products cracks as it dries We tried 3 times and each time it cracked when dry February 11, 2015
Air-dry clay I love it, it works very we'll. I've used this on two of my projects so far & will continue to use it . The only thing that could be a problem to some is the drying time. It does take a day or so to dry depending on how thick your sculpture is , but as long as your not rushed you'll be fine . Overall this product is great December 14, 2014
Cracks way too much This air-dry clay cracks way too much - tried twice on different projects and they're full of cracks.... looks terrible and has to be repaired before we can bring the project to school! December 7, 2014
Easy to use Worked fine for our project, but was a little disappointed with the performance of the larger mixture December 4, 2014
Exceeds Expectations This product worked very well for my history project. I had to build a sculpture, and this was a fine clay (not that I can compare it to others). It was easy to mold and fold to my desires, and there was a lot in the bucket. I even had some to share! The only thing with this clay was that it is very easily broken once dried. Part of my sculpture broke off because I dropped it. April 6, 2014
Great product I use this for my side project, paw printing. I was skeptical at first since it wasn't the professional clay I usually use, but actually works just as good. My clients will be very pleased! Great product to capture their pets memories. March 10, 2014
