Project Instructions
Abbreviations:
sc = single crochet
yo = yarn over
Step 1 Paint Styrofoam® egg with brown paint. Let dry.
Step 2 Crochet:
Sc 3. Connect to make circle. Leave tail to mark the beginning/end of the circle.
Row 1: Sc twice in each stitch until end.
Row 2: Chain 5, skip stitch 1 and sc in stitch 2. Chain 5, skip stitch 3 and sc in stitch 4. Chain 5, skip stitch 5 and sc in stitch 6. Chain 5, skip stitch 7 and sc in stitch 8.
Row 3: Chain 5 and sc into stitch 1 (1st 5 chain in Row 1). Chain 5 and sc into stitch 2 (2nd 5 chain in Row 1). Chain 5 and sc into stitch 3. Chain 5 and sc into stitch 4. Chain 5 and sc into stitch 5.
Row 4-9: Repeat Row 3.
Row 10: Chain 3 and sc in stitch 1. Chain 3 and sc in stitch 2. Chain 3 and sc in stitch 3. Chain 3 and sc in stitch 4. Chain 3 and sc in stitch 5.
Row 11: sc in each stitch.
Step 3 Top & close off by looping each stitch on the hook. Yo through all loops.
Step 4 For hanger, Chain 8, sc in Chain 1 and tie off.
