Material List
- Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kit™ – Moody Blues
- T-Shirt, 100% Cotton – White
- Plastic Tablecloth
- Plastic Spray Bottle with Water (Optional)
Project Instructions
Step 1 Pre-wash T-shirt without fabric softener. Do not dry.
Step 2 Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.
Step 3 Lay damp T-shirt flat on prepared work surface.
Step 4 Prepare the dye colors as directed on instructions.
Step 5 Squeeze a 4"-5" block of green at base of T-shirt.
Step 6 Squeeze blue dye across a 4" space above the green with a heavier concentration in the center section of the blue.
Step 7 Above the blue, squeeze a 4" section of the turquoise dye with a heavier concentration in the center area.
Step 8 Optional: Spray water where the colors meet to blend.
Step 9 Cover T-shirt with plastic tablecloth and let set 6-8 hours or overnight.
Step 10 Machine wash in cool water with a little soap and dry.
