Donut Cake Pops
Material List
- Duff Cake Pans, 9"x13"
- Duff Cake Mix – Yellow
- Ingredients Needed for Cake
- Duff Icing Pouch – Yellow
- Melting Chocolate – Tan (1 Pkg.) and White (1 Pkg.)
- Duff Sprinkles – Rainbow
- Sucker Sticks, 6"
- Styrofoam®
Project Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°.
Grease and flour one 9"x13" cake pan.
Bake yellow cake according to Duff cake mix instructions. Let cool completely.
In a mixer, place cake and pouch of icing. Mix until well blended.
Roll dough into 1" balls. Carefully make indentations in center of ball on both sides to resemble a donut.
Insert stick into donuts.
Place the donuts in freezer for about 25 minutes.
Melt the melting chocolate slowly at a low temperature on the stove.
Dip donuts into melted chocolate.
Tap off excess chocolate and let cool. Cover top with white melting chocolate and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles.
Stick sucker stick into Stryofoam® and let dry.
