Duck Tape® Rug
Material List
- Duck Tape (pattern of choice)
- Hole punch or Crop-A-Dile (Crop-A-Dile requires adult supervision or adult needs to do this part)
- 3 colors of yarn
- Posterboard
Project Instructions
Step 1. Cover entire posterboard in Duck Tape, creating rows until completely covered.
Step 2. Fold in the ends of each of the four corners.
Step 3. Using the hole punch or Crop-a-Dile, punch holes on two opposite ends of the posterboard. Each hole should be about 1/4" inch apart.
Step 4. To create the tassels at the ends of the rug, cut 4 strands of yarn from one color skein that are the same length.
Step 5. Put the 4 strands through one hole and knot the ends around the back of the posterboard.
Step 6. Repeat steps 3 and 4, alternating colors, until both ends of the posterboard have yarn tassels.
Step 7. On the back of the posterboard, cover both ends that have the knots with a strip of Duck Tape.
