Material List
- Americana® Paint – Deep Burgundy, Desert Sand and Dark Chocolate
- Americana® Decoupage, Matte
- Square Plaques, 5"x5" (4)
- Ribbon
- Paintbrushes – 1" Flat Brush and #6 Flat
- X-ACTO® Knife
- Low Heat Glue Gun
- Sponge
- Water Container
- Palette (or Plastic Plate)
- Paper Towels
- Computer

- Printer Paper
Project Instructions
Step 1 Print letters in font of your choice 3.25" tall. Using an X-ACTO® knife, carefully cut out letters. Set aside.
Step 2 Paint outside trim of plaque Deep Burgundy using #6 flat brush.
Step 3 Paint top of plaque Desert Sand using 1" flat brush. Let dry.
Step 4 Apply thin coat of Decoupage to back of letter and position in center of plaque. Use 1" flat brush to apply a thin coat of Decoupage over letter. Make sure all edges are flat against plaque. Let dry.
Step 5 Mix two parts Decoupage and 1 part Dark Chocolate. Dip sponge in mixture and pounce off excess paint. Apply all over square front to create a distressed look. Let dry.
Step 6 Use hot glue gun to attach ribbon to back of each plaque.
