Project Instructions

Step 1 Pre-wash T-shirt and leave damp; do not use fabric softener.

Step 2 Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth and lay damp shirt flat on prepared surface.

Step 3 Wearing gloves from kit, add water to brown and pink dye bottles and shake until thoroughly mixed.

Step 4 Starting at the neckline of T-shirt, apply brown dye evenly across the top one-third of shirt.

Step 5 Starting at the bottom of shirt, apply pink dye evenly across the bottom half of shirt, allowing color to bleed upward as shown.

Step 6 Cover shirt with plastic tablecloth to keep damp and let set six to eight hours or longer for most intense color.

Step 7 Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in a large load of hottest water suitable for fabric and a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.

Step 8 Print out desired image of bow and enlarge to desired size.

Step 9 Following instructions included with Screen-It™ machine, create a print screen of bow image.

Step 10 Follow instructions to screen print bow onto top of T-shirt, using Petal Pink Soft® fabric paint. Let dry.
