Project Instructions

step 1Print out the silhouette on white printer paper and cut out with scissors or with an X-ACTO® knife. Then take the cutout and cut out the silhouette on black cardstock.
step 2Pick out a pattern paper from the paper pad and cut out “DAD” 3" letters with scissors or X-ACTO® knife. Then cut out “DAD” 3" letters using the Kraft paper. Take the adhesive runner and adhere the pattern paper “DAD” letters to the top of the Kraft “DAD” letters and off-set them. Then ink the edges of the letters with the Tim Holtz® Vintage Photo ink.
step 3Take a piece of scrapbook paper from the Recollections® Tattered & Worn paper pad and add the Recollections™ double-sided tape to the back of the scrapbook paper and then place it on top of burlap ribbon.
step 4Then add the adhesive tape to the back of the black scrapbook silhouette and adhere it to the bottom left corner of the patterned scrapbook paper.
step 5Add adhesive tape to the back of each “DAD” letter and add the letters to the bottom right corner of the scrapbook patterned paper.
step 6Take the three old fishing lures and add either double-sided tape and low heat glue gun (depending on the weight of the lures) to the back of the fishing lures. Adhere one in each top corner and then adhere another in the open area below the fishing rod.
step 7Now place the finished mat back into the shadow box.
