Project Instructions
Step 1
Cut the felt to the desired length and width for your table.
Step 2
To create a faux hide, cut the edges of the felt jagged.
Step 3
On the back side of the felt, use a ruler and a white marker to measure off the spots to punch holes, in order to lace the leather “Xs” through. Stay about an inch away from the edge on each side. Each “X” is 1" wide with 1" between, and 1½" tall.
Step 4
Once you have marked off the spots for the “Xs”, use the Crop-a-dile™ Big Bite to punch the holes. It may not punch out the whole circle, but it will be enough to slide the leather through.
Step 5
Begin lacing the leather to create “Xs” on the front side of the felt, stringing two wood beads on each “X”.
Step 6
Tie off to complete and repeat on the other end.
