Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut several 1" strips from bottom of first T-shirt, discarding the hem strip. Cut each strip open at the side seam to create a long 1" strip.

Step 2 Cut out circles of Fabric Fusion® sheet that are about an inch smaller than you want your finished rosettes to be.

Step 3 Remove backing from one side of first Fabric Fusion® circle. Starting at the outside edge of adhesive circle, begin applying about ¼" of the edge of T-shirt strip to adhesive, gathering randomly as you go, winding around until you reach the center of circle. Start a new strip whenever your first one ends if it doesn’t cover your entire circle.

Step 4 Poke a hole through the adhesive circle at the center of your finished rosette. Create rosette center by tying a knot in the remaining tail of the T-shirt fabric, close to the finished rosette.

Step 5 Pull excess T-shirt material through center hole to back of adhesive circle until knot is snug at the center front of your rosette. Trim down to 1" at the back.

Step 6 Remove second adhesive backing and adhere tail of knotted T-shirt strip. Place rosette in desired position on neck of uncut T-shirt.

Step 7 Repeat above steps to create as many rosettes as desired for design.
