Project Instructions

step 1Cut off the sleeves, neckline, and seam on the bottom of a T-shirt.
step 2Begin to lay strips of Duck Tape® on the front and back of the shirt. Overlap the tape slightly.
step 3Once the shirt is covered in Duck Tape®, cut open the front of the tee.
step 4Cut a "V" shape into the front of the T-shirt.
step 5Cut the armholes larger, as a vest would be made.
step 6Cut the bottom of the T-shirt to small points, as you see in the photo.
step 7Once vest is cut to your liking, fold in a pleat to the back about 3" and place a piece of Duck Tape® to hold it in place. This is optional but does make the vest fit better.
step 8If desired, use a Sharpie® to accent around the vest with stitching and pockets, etc.
step 9Use any pattern of Duck Tape® to customize your style.
