Material List
- Lampshade
- Old Book Pages
- Low Heat Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Celebrate It® Jute Ribbon – Red (or Jute)
- Scissors
Project Instructions
Step 1 Fold old book pages in half, lengthwise. Fold enough to go around the lampshade.
Step 2 Glue pages one at a time at the top of the shade. Overlap the pages in one direction. Next one placed and glued is always placed on the top of the one before it. When layering expose 1"-1½" of the page before it. Keep the folded edge to the outside. You are creating a fan-like effect.
Step 3 Trim the top and bottom of the lamp by gluing jute or jute ribbon to the top and bottom.
