Wonderful yarn, has a nice halo that is making my blanket look great, I used this yarn before and stands the washer and drying machine without a problem.

There are issues with this yarn. The variations between color lots can be extreme enough that sometimes two skeins of the same color look like they should be totally different colors. And the twist is loose enough that if i am not careful I will split the stitch.

That said, this yarn works up to a fabric that is absolutely phenomenal. It's soft and drapey and just lovely to wear. I will eagerly accept all the downsides for the end product this yarn produces.

I live this yarn but the color from skein to skein varies too much. I didn’t notice at first unfortunately but laid it out tonight and there is a ver obvios line where I started the new skein. Hopefully the recipient won’t notice.

I ordered 12 skeins of this and expected the order to include yarn that was the same. Instead, I got my order from at least two different places, because it came in 2 shipments. There are THREE different dye lots included in these 12 skeins and while TWO are similar, the THIRD is markedly different. Unfortunately, it is the THIRD dye lot that I began my project with and that is a beautiful dye lot that has a gorgeous colorway to it. I noticed a HUGE DIFFERENCE after using the second dye lot - so much so that I literally had to frog (rip out) hours and hours of work, because it was a very noticeably different colorway than the original. So now I'm left unable to complete this project unless I can order a specific dye lot. In all my years of crocheting, I've never had this happen to such a marked degree. I'm not sure whether to blame Heartland or Michaels, but I am very, VERY disappointed and unhappy about this.

The color is very pretty - however, the yarn untwists and splits way too much. I will finish my project but will look for a different yarn next time
