Project Instructions

Cut two yards of metallic twist hemp or your choice of colored hemp.

Leaving at least a 2" tail, hold hemp against the inside of the cuff towards the direction you are going to wrap, and begin wrapping hemp tightly and continuously around cuff.

When you get to the end of the cuff, knot the hemp on the underside of the cuff. Use a small screwdriver to push the hemp end under several hemp strands. Trim off excess.

Apply a small amount of glue to the knot and the last strand on the cuff.

To add additional colors in your design, Leave a 1" tail of hemp and hold against the inside of the cuff with the previous color strand and begin wrapping hemp tightly around the cuff.

To add embellishments to the cuff, wrap the cuff first, then go back and glue on the embellishments. You can also use hemp to tie them onto the cuff, securing the ends on the underside.

Project Idea: Change up an ordinary metal cuff by wrapping it with metallic twist hemp.

Weave hemp ends on the underside of the cuff and use a bit of glue on the hemp. Have a small screwdriver handy to push the hemp end under the wrapped section. Refer to photo.
