Project Instructions

Step 1 Trace box lid top onto a piece of scrapbook paper and cut out circle.

Step 2 Spray adhesive on top of lid.

Step 3 Adhere paper.

Step 4 Cut ribbon the length of the box circumference and apply ribbon using hot glue gun.

Step 5 Repeat with additional pieces of paper, ribbon and embellishments until box and lid are completely covered.

Step 6 Coat candlesticks with a base color of paint.

Step 7 Continue painting using the rings as a guide for color changes.

Step 8 Allow candlestick to dry completely.

Step 9 Using paintbrush, Mod Podge® and water, apply to areas you would like to place glitter.

Step 10 Dust wet areas of Mod Podge® with glitter until wet area is completely covered with glitter.

Step 11 Allow to dry completely. Dust off excess glitter.

Step 12 Hot glue to the bottom of the box.

Step 13 Place four sheets of foam in a stack alternating 2-4 colors.

Step 14 Using a sharp X-ACTO® knife and ruler, cut top to bottom through all four sheets at once in 2"-4" pieces.

Step 15 Apply the foam to the sides, around the diameter of the box (run the excess off of the top).

Step 16 Trim excess from top rim of box using scissors.

Step 17 Cover seams and edges with tinsel trim, hot glued into place.
