Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke before I even cast on! I bought this loom to learn how to knit socks. I am ridiculously disappointed in the quality of the product. As I was taking the loom out of the bag, two of the pins broke off. They didn't fall out, but literally the metal just broke. The loom had not been handled roughly and there was no evidence of flaws when I bought it. I now have an utterly worthless loom because I can't trust that the other pins won't break even if I wanted to use this for other projects. DO NOT BUY! Local store was only willing to do an exchange for the same product...which why would I want another one when there are multiple reviews now stating the pins break? Very very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs improvement The loom seems well made. The instructions are difficult to follow if you have limited knowledge of loom knitting, especially for socks. Be ready to look for some online instructions. The loom has little numbers next to the pegs. To me these are in the wrong direction. If you are making a smaller sock you adjust the loom and end up using pegs 5 to 25. If the numbers went in the other direction it would be easier to figure out how to adjust for 42 pegs or 46 pegs. The hook that comes with the set is useless. Go buy a drugstore and find a dental pick and plaque remover kit. The metal hooked plaque remover has flatten hook on the end. Works get has a small loom knitting tool. A set will cost you around $5.00 or less. The dental pick is more rounded and too sharp for me (ouch my fingers).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Knit quick Sock Loom by Loops and Threads The directions included with the loom were useless and there was no CD or Youtube video made by the company to show how to make a sock. The needle tool included with the kit has such a dull point that it was difficult to lift the stitches. I would not recommend this loom. I have used the round looms made by this company which I have been happy with and knitted hats, blanks and shawls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loops and threads sock loom Wish that the loom tool had a finer tip on it. When knitting, it's difficult to slide the tool behind the yarn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sock Loom I purchased the sock loom and found the enclosed instructions a bit confusing but I went on YouTube and got much clearer instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I was about done with sock looms, when this one surprised me and actually worked. It is heavier and so far stronger than the others. I am using DK yarn, and e wrapping all the way. It is not going bias nor so tight that the pegs just come off in my hand. It's working fine. I do short rows for the heel and toe, don't lift off any stitches and get good results. So I am still making socks on a loom, this one for now is showing good results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality was very disheartened when I bought it settled on it when Michaels only had this one kind . Found it heavy, and when I used it one tooth bent slightly. I went to straighten it and it broke right off. Those nails were not good hard metal but rather a soft material like a lead. no strength. so sad as I have not been able to replace it. wooden ones are expensive. I so wanted to knit socks on one of a fine to extra fine guage. Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loops & Threads Sock Loom I was so excited about this product, but I've been pretty disappointed. As the first reviewer said, the instructions are poorly written and you need to find a youtube video to follow. I did find one youtube video where the instructor is using this product but says how difficult it is to use! It's been 6 days and I still haven't managed to cast on to begin a sock. I'll try one more time and then it's back to Michael's for a refund. The thread comes off the pegs too easily and the tool is too large to use with the recommended thread.
