You're somewhat experienced with the skills necessary to complete this project, but you haven't mastered all the elements, yet.

leather tassel beaded bracelet

Step 1
Measure and cut a 1¼" x 1¼" piece of leather. Turn one piece over to the back so that the smooth side is facing the work surface. Orient the leather piece on the work surface so you can establish a top and bottom.
Step 2
Measure ¼" down from the top and make several horizontal marks across the leather piece. Tape the leather piece down to the work surface. Line up the bottom of the tape across the marks made ¼" down from the top edge.

TIP: The bottom of the tape will serve as the stopping point when cutting the fringe of the tassel.
Step 3
Make light vertical lines every 1/8", from the bottom of the tape down to the bottom of the leather piece. Cut along the lines to make the fringe of the tassel. Be careful to stay on the lines.

TIP: For easier cuts, use a metal ruler, rotary cutter and a self-healing mat. Use these, make marks every 1/8" across the bottom of the tape, and cut the leather from the bottom of the leather piece, stopping at the bottom of the tape.
Step 4
Remove the tape. Spread some E6000® adhesive to across the ¼" section across the top of the leather piece and tightly roll the leather piece into a tassel. Wrap a rubber band around several times over the top of the tassel, holding it in place while the adhesive dries. Set aside to dry.
Step 5
Thread three beads onto an eye pin. Form a simple wire loop on the end of the eye pin by grasping the eye pin wire between the jaws of a pair of round nose pliers. Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire until a small loop is formed. Set bead connector aside.

TIP: If you made the necklace and you are out of eye pins from the findings value pack, you can use a head pin from the pack. To make an eye pin from a head pin, cut off the flat head and make a wire look at one end.
Step 6
Cut three 4¾" lengths of chain. Thread one end of each chain onto a jump ring and attach to one side of the bead connector made in Step 5.
Step 7
Thread the other end of the chain lengths onto a second jump ring, add the tassel and a lobster clasp and then close the jump ring.
Step 8
Add a jump ring to the other side of the bead connector. To close the bracelet, attach the lobster clasp to the empty jump ring.
