Can't use in hot water, colors may run On the back of the label, which I only saw after I bought it, was the care instructions...."don't use it in water over 86f and use the delicate cycle; tumble dry low," and then under that in bold type it says "some colors may run." Also on the back of the label were the directions for making a dishcloth (which is what I intended to use this yarn for as well). Now I ask you, what good is a dishcloth that can't be used in hot water? what good is a dishcloth who's colors are going to run even if you follow those washing directions? It's absurd. By the time I saw this, I was halfway done with one so I finished that skein but I'm returning the rest as I do not want to spend my time making washcloths and then not be able to use them in a hot bath, or water hot enough to actually clean dishes, least wise have the dye run out. It was easy to work with and has a nice feel and might be good for something that doesn't ever need to be washed, but I won't buy it again. June 11, 2015
yarn supply If you are going to put something on sale then have enough online to cover it. I live 2 1/2 hours from a Michael and by the second day all had sold out online. I use this yarn often because I make dishcloths, wash cloths, burp pads out of this and it would have saved me so much money. Wish I could get some online. April 16, 2015
Good yarn but Michaels lax in keeping inventory I love working with cotton yarn, and Lily Sugar'n Cream is the easiest to find at a decent price. Be forewarned, however, that Michaels is TERRIBLE at keeping inventory in stock. It's hit or miss whether or not your color will be available. I often begin new projects without patterns, so sometimes I run out while working on my original designs. I wish I could afford to buy out the entire stock in one visit. I hate the feeling of going into the store for one single item and only to find they don't have it (80% of the time). If you have a pattern and know what you need, make sure you buy it up when you start a new project, or you may be stuck half-way through. ...MICHAEL'S, TAKE HEED >< March 6, 2015
