Loops & Threads® Snuggly Wuggly™ Big! Yarn 5 5 1 1
Loops & Threads® Snuggly Wuggly™ Big! Yarn I bought this yarn to make a baby blanket. I chose the big one because it was more cost efficient than buying 3 smaller ones like the pattern called for. I am so glad I did. There were zero (0) yarn connecting knots. Zero (0) tangled clumps. I had to go down in the center to fish out the center end (I like it to feed from the center so I don't have to keep stopping to unwind it) and that always results in an initial wad no matter which brand I use, but with this one it was different. It wasn't a tangled up mess. It was super easy to sort and start. The pattern was a round baby blanket with a main color and a border color. It was awesome being able to work start to finish without having to deal with tied knots by myself or the company. They used one constant strand for the whole skein. Awesome stitch detail. The strand didn't unwind or separate. My teenagers loved the look and feel of the finished project and asked if I would use the same yarn on the next blanket I made them. I told them I would if I could find the right colors. Which brings me up to my one and only problem with the company. Their lack of color choices. They are good with the baby color basics, white, soft yellow, etc., but not much outside of that. Regardless, this is now my favorite yarn. It is also the first choice of my mom's 13 year old dog. I made her a blanket with the left over. She will push her other crocheted blankets (that she used to be quite happy with) out of the way and stare you down until you go get the blanket made with this yarn. A few times we went and got her a different one to see what she would do and she pushed it off onto the floor and looked at us like we were stupid until we brought this one out. July 21, 2015
