Material List
- Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kit™ – Neon
- Tulip® Dye Zip Ties (Optional)
- T-shirt, 100% Cotton – White
- Plastic Tablecloth
- Ping Pong Balls (Desired Number of Polka Dots)
Project Instructions
Step 1 Wash T-shirt without fabric softener and do not dry.
Step 2 Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth. Lay damp T-shirt on prepared work surface.
Step 3 Position ping pong balls randomly under shirt and secure each with a rubber band or Tulip® zip tie.
Step 4 Mix dye colors according to package instructions.
Step 5 Apply dye colors randomly over each ping pong ball.
Step 6 Cover shirt with plastic tablecloth and let dye set 6-8 hours.
Step 7 Rinse T-shirt under cold running water to remove excess dye.
Step 8 Wash according to package instructions. Remove zip ties or rubber bands and dry shirt in dryer.
