- Martha Stewart Crafts™ Adhesive Silkscreen – Butterflies

- Glass Cube Vase
- Foam Plate
- Paper Towels
- Brush Basin (or Water Container)
- Scissors
- Rubbing Alcohol

Project Instructions
Pouncer
Squeeze small amount of paint onto foam plate. Dab flat edge of pouncer into paint a few times. Dab onto silkscreen until all openings are painted. Carefully lift straight up to remove silkscreen; do not drag screen across wet paint.
Squeegee
Squeeze small amount of paint directly on silkscreen. Holding squeegee at a 45° angle with light pressure, pull paint across opening of the silkscreen. Carefully lift straight up to remove silkscreen; do not drag Pink Pearl Butterfly Vase
Step 1 Remove stickers and clean vase with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
Step 2 Moisten paper towel with rubbing alcohol; wipe glass to remove any soap residue.
Step 3 Cut apart adhesive silkscreen.
Step 4 Remove silkscreen from backing sheet; save backing sheet for storage.
Step 5 Position silkscreen where desired. Press in place.
Step 6 Apply paint to silkscreen using either a pouncer or squeegee.
Step 7 When creating an ombre look, paint the lighter color first -- in this case, Yellow Jacket. The darker color, Mace, is added to the lighter color and blended in the center.
Step 8 Immediately clean tools and silkscreen with soap and water; rinse well and dry thoroughly. Store silkscreen on backing sheet.
