After spending hours working on T shirts with lettering and drawing, the white Fabric Deco paint pen markings mostly washed off after laundering. Did not see anywhere on package direction to heat set first. Had to go online to find out, after paint pen markings on shirts failed. One pen did about one shirt. Frustrating and expensive. Very disappointing. Taking them back.

Purchased one of these markers to finish decorating a canvas tote bag. It didn’t take long for the tip to get frustratingly dry and shed tiny pieces. I even left it standing upside down for a couple hours as well as overnight and it never really revived itself. The rough material of the bag probably didn’t help, but it seems like other people are having the same issue despite using smoother items such as t-shirts. I do not recommend spending $4 on this product but if you’ve already bought it, I suggest cutting it open, emptying the remaining paint into a container then taping the tip end back on and using it like you would a regular paint brush. That’s what I did and I was actually able to complete my project with a little bit left over.

The package does not give any instructions other than "dry flat". Pckg says "Permanent" - but the paint totally washed off of the jeans we had painted - and we let the paint dry for several days before washing.

I had a design taped off well, followed all instructions and the paint still bled under the tape. Plus the felt tip makes it hard to use, because it keeps catching the fibers of the fabric.

I ran out of ink after 10 letters, the tip frayed and the letters were not crisp! STOP MAKING THIS MARKER AND TAKING OUR MONEY!!!!

$3.99 for 30 seconds of paint. I couldn’t even finish one shirt with it. They said I couldn’t get my money back since it had been opened. How do do I know I’m shorted till package is open? Won’t purchase again. Ever.

Takes to many coats, not a smooth finish. Wouldn't recommend.

Excellent product, as a first time user, i was nervous about using it on this wall hanging I am making for my church, but it worked out great. Now I hear that Michael's is going to discontinue it. Gosh i hope not, because I was planning another project with these markers.
