Step 1
In a bowl, combine Mod Podge® and dye, using more or less dye depending on desired shade.
Step 2
Apply to the outside of your Mason jar with foam brush. Let dry completely. Add another coat if you would like your jar to be less transparent.
Step 3
To make the wire handle, start by cutting out a 24" piece of wire. Fold in half.
Step 4
Wrap open ends around jar.
Step 5
Twist remaining wire together, creating handle.
Step 6
Bring wire ends together at one side and twist closed.
Step 7
Add embellishments to lantern by adding stickers, burlap or jewelry.
Step 8
