Step 1 Lightly sand the wood box to smooth edges and surface.
Step 2 Paint the interior of the wood box with craft paint color of choice.
Step 3 Paint the exterior of the wood box with a craft paint that coordinates with the craft paper.
Step 4 Measure the height of the exterior of the wood box base. Cut the craft paper to fit the height, using the paper cutter for a straight line.
Step 5 Coat the exterior of the box with craft glue and apply the craft paper around the box.
Step 6 Measure the height of the wood box lid. Cut the craft paper to fit the height, using the paper cutter for a straight line.
Step 7 Coat the exterior of the box lid with craft glue and apply the craft paper around the box lid.
Step 8 Cut a circle of craft paper to inset into the lid. Adhere with craft glue.
Step 9 Use a thumbtack and push a hole into center of the lid.
Step 10 Trim the eye pin to fit into this hole. Dip the end of the eye pin in glue and insert in the hole. Allow to dry.
Step 11 Separate the tassel from the pendant with jewelry pliers.
Step 12 Attach the tassel to the eye pin loop.
Step 13 Place a small amount of craft glue onto the pendant and glue the pendant to the top of the box.
Step 14 After all the paper is dry. Use the X-ACTO® knife to trim any paper that hangs over an edge.
