Project Instructions

Turn the sketching pad over so that the back (cardboard) side is facing up. This will now be the front cover.
Paint the cover with White gesso. This may take a few coats. Let dry in between coats.
Using a ruler, measure 3 cm from the top. Make the first line with a blue Sharpie®.
Measure 1 cm from the top line. Make the second line with the blue Sharpie®.
Continue to measure and draw blue lines 1 cm apart until you reach the bottom.
Wrap two strands of red floss around the left-hand side of the cover and tie.
TIP: For an additional element, add a Rainbow Loom® Pencil Charm to your journal.
