Cut elastic to fit around the jar.

Cut a piece of red felt to fit the length of elastic and two-and-a-half times the width of the elastic. Wrap cut felt over elastic and whipstitch the end and along the bottom. Sew on large jingle bells and wrap around jar.

Use the lid insert as a template and trace and cut a circle from scrapbook paper. Attach to top of lid with adhesive tape.

Make a bow and glue to lid.
