Step 1 Start outlining design with black marker. Start in the center and work outward. Fill in all color after all outlines have been completed.

Step 2 Outline “Super Dad” with black marker.

Step 3 For the star burst detail around the “Super Dad” create loose “v’s” around the outside, then fill in with black marker.

Step 4 Start adding dots around star burst. Create a line, and then duplicate it all the way around the star burst. Don’t worry if this is not perfect. Once it is all filled in it is not that noticeable if your lines are not exact. We also added some open dots inside of the star burst for some added interest.

Step 5 Fill “Super Dad” with yellow permanent marker. Try not to overlap the black with the yellow. This will cause your yellow marks to turn black.

Step 6 Fill in star burst with blue permanent marker. Be careful not to overlap the color with the black. This will cause your color to look muddy, and will start to turn your blue to black.
