Cut two pieces of cardstock to fit inside the bucket.

Trace the elf face on the center of the cardstock and embellish with Sharpie® markers.

For the male elf, hot glue the feather boa around the rim of the pail. For the female elf, hot glue feather boa around the base of the handle to create earmuffs.

Cut a ¼" strip of felt to wrap around the handle. Hot glue, wrap, and then secure with hot glue at the other end of the handle. 

Cut a 5¾" circle out of scrapbook paper to add to the bucket lid, using double-stick tape.
