Watercolor Pencil Birdhouse by Kimberly®
Item# 30459See how easy it is to use Kimbery® watercolor pencils to create a birdhouse image with this illustrated guide.Step 1 Draw a simple birdhouse with a dry Brown Kimberly® Watercolor Pencil. Layer more color under eaves and on bottom of birdhouse.
Step 2 Activate color with wet brush.
Step 3 While paper is still wet, add wood grain and bird hole with dry brown pencil using the Wet Paper Technique.
Step 4 Color the left side of the pole Brown on dry paper then stroke water over entire pole.
Step 5 After pole is dry, add the greenery by wetting the paper with clear water. Then, create a swatch of green Kimberly® Watercolor Pencil on a separate sheet of paper. Activate the pallet swatch of Green Kimberly® Watercolor Pencil to create the greenery.
Step 6 Add Green foreground reeds by drawing lines on damp paper with the Green Kimberly® Watercolor Pencil and let paper dry. Dip red pencil in water then touch pencil tip to paper to make red flower shapes using the Bold Details Technique.
Step 7 Let paper dry, then paint in the small blue flowers using the same technique as in Step 5.
